In San Marino we woke up a little later than the rest of the days. Then, we went out to visit the three towers of San Marino and the cross bow range. The views of San Marino are so beautiful. After a while of walking around and shopping we played the San Marino basketball team and one of the policemen at the towers was on the basketball team. We won the game by 20 and it was really fun.

Italy – Basketball Volleyball Tour – Blog – Day 1 and 2

Rome Day 1 and Day 2:

After our 8 hour plane ride we have finally landed in Roma, Italy! For most of us it is our first time out of the country and the excitement is beginning to kick in. Without delay, we meet our tour guides and get our itineraries for the next 11 days. First stop, The Vatican! Hearing about this historical city and seeing photographs does not compare to being in it. We exchange our US dollars for euro and get our first meal in Italy. From four cheese pizzas and lasagnas to strawberry gelato and cannoli’s there is no doubt that while we are here the food will be one of the biggest highlights. After a full day participating in walking tours, being able to enter The Sistine Chapel was the most memorable experience. Read more
