Updated August 1 – PLNU softball head coach Dave Williams took a few weeks of his summer break to coach teams competing in international play. During the last week of June, Williams went to Prague in the Czech Republic to lead an American team of mainly NAIA and NCAA DIII players against local squads. His team ended up winning the tournament!

In late July Williams headed to the talent-rich Dominican Republic. Among the players he brought were three current Sea Lions: Kira Wommer, Melissa Gomez and Tina Keys. The American led team won all of its games in the DR.
