Italy Baseball Tour


This is a great opportunity for high school baseball and softball players to enjoy the sites of Northern Italy. An educational experience that will give you an opportunity compete against several different countries in one great tournament. Teams from Holland, Germany, Spain and Italy have appeared in this tournament in the past. There is plenty to see in the beautiful Tuscany countryside along with stops in Milan, Como, Bellagio, Florence and Pisa. Round trip airfare from New York, breakfast and dinner everyday and some lunches are all included in this package.

Tentative Itinerary

Day Event
1 Depart USA for Milan, Italy.
2 Arrival into Milan international airport and meeting with your bilingual tour manager who will take care of all your needs during the Italy tour. Departure to Como for orienteering tour of the city. Lunch on your own and free time, then final transfer to your hotel: check-in, dinner and overnight in Como.
3 After breakfast, transfer to Milan for a guided visit of historical centre. At the end, free time to explore the city on your own and for shopping in the main fashion firm shops such as Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and many more. Lunch on your own. After some time at leisure, departure to Legnano. Pre game dinner then transfer to play your 1st game in Legnano area. Dinner and overnight in Como.
4 After breakfast, transfer to Como main square and depart for a beautiful cruise on Lake Como to Bellagio. Bellagio is a typical Lake Como town where you will enjoy leisure time, lunch on your own and more leisure time on the lake. We will then have a pre-game dinner at the hotel before departing to the Milan area to play your 2nd friendly match vs. Italian teams. Overnight in Como.
5 After breakfast, departure to Tuscany. Stop in Florence, the Italian city home of the “Renaissance” art movement. Lunch on your own, then guided visit of the city with an official licensed guide. After some time at leisure, departure to Arezzo – the town who hosted the International Softball & Baseball tournament “Tuscany Series.” Accommodation into hotel Planet in Rigutino, Arezzo: dinner and overnight.
6 After breakfast, your tournament starts. Lunch at the tournament (included). In the afternoon, according to your game schedule, possibility of additional sightseeing in the nice Arezzo countryside. Dinner at the tournament restaurant and overnight.
7 After breakfast, games all day following your game schedule. Lunch at the tournament (included). According to your game schedule, possibility of additional sightseeing in the nice Arezzo countryside. Dinner at the tournament restaurant and overnight.
8 After breakfast, semi-final games for all teams. Lunch and dinner at the tournament restaurant (included). Dinner and overnight in Arezzo.
9 After breakfast, final games and awards ceremony. Lunch and dinner at the tournament, then late transfer to Montecatini. Accommodation and overnight.
10 After breakfast, in the morning transfer to Pisa for a nice guided visit. Lunch on your own, then departure to North Italy. Arrival in Milan area, accommodation, dinner and overnight.
11 After breakfast hotel check-out and transfer to Milan international airport to take your flight back home. Arrival at the airport and end of services.

Other costs incurred will depend on each individual’s spending habits. Connecting airfare to departure city, souvenirs, some meals and any personal expenses will not be covered by American International Sports Teams.
