LaxFest 2011 Ireland and England Women’s U19 Lacrosse Tour
LaxFest Europe will take place in Dublin from August 2 – 11, 2011. With AIST your tour will take you on a fascinating adventure through the beautiful country sides of Ireland and England. With stops in Dublin, Manchester and London you will be able to see top sights and experience to different cultures in one great trip. Competition here is improving each year and the clubs of these countries welcome the opportunity to participate in friendly games vs. the USA. There will be plenty of free time to relax and enjoy this trip as well as an intense sightseeing package with guided tours and excursions included.
August 2 – 11, 2011 Tentative Itinerary – 10 day tour

| 1 | Depart from Baltimore/New York Area on your overnight flight to London. |
| 2 | On arriving in the UK, you will be met by an AIST representative and transferred by coach to your University accommodation in the London area, where you will be accommodated for the next 2 nights on a B&B basis. Depending on your flight timings, as you will not be able to check in to your accommodation until late afternoon, you will have a guided panoramic coach tour of England’s Capital, including pre-paid entrances to Mme Tussauds and the Tower of London. |
| 3 | Today, after breakfast transfer to: Match 1 -v- Local Opposition. Postmatch refreshments will follow after the game. |
| 4 | Today, after breakfast, check out of your accommodation and transfer to Oxford. You will have the opportunity of exploring and perhaps even try puntingĀ on the river before transferring to your youth hostel for 1 night of B&B accommodation. |
| 5 | After breakfast, check out of your hostel and transfer to the city of Manchester, where the LaxFest tournament will be hosted. Tournament begins in the evening. Tonight you will be accommodated in a youth hostel for 3 nights of your tour on a B&B basis. |
| 6 | Enjoy a free morning and perhaps explore Manchester United soccer stadium. Tournament continues. Postmatch refreshments will follow the game and afterwards, you will return to your accommodation. |
| 7 | After Breakfaxt, finals of the tournament and last exploration of Manchester. |
| 8 | This morning you will transfer towards Holyhead where you will board your ferry to Ireland. On arrival in Ireland, transfer by coach to Dublin where you will be accommodated in a city centre hostel, for the next 3 nights of your tour on a B&B basis. Depending on timings, you may wish to take part in today’s coaching clinic and in the evening, you will be able to attend the Welcome Party and dinner. |
| 9 | After breakfast transfer for a friendly game vs. local Ireland team. Afternoon, free to explore. |
| 10 | After breakfast, transfer to Dublin airport for your return flight to North America which will arrive later today. |
