Costa Rica Volleyball Tour
This is a great opportunity to enjoy some summer time weather in the winter! Costa Rica offers 85 degree weather year round. Keep an eye out for monkeys, iguanas and sloth roaming wild throughout this country full of wildlife. Beautiful waterfalls and lush green jungles are everywhere! The rainforest offers the opportunity for many wild animals to be seen and heard throughout this tour. The beaches also offer a chance to relax and enjoy your trip. Don’t forget to try some of the many fruits that grow in Costa Rica. The freshly squeezed juices are also a great way to start your day.

| 1 | Depart USA for San Jose, Costa Rica. Upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel Costa Rica Tennis Club, The program director will give a summary of the events and activities for the following days. Welcome dinner included. |
| 2 | Guided tour of highlights of the Capital City of San Jose in the morning. Friendly competitive game No. 1 at a local Gymnasium. Typical Dinner Show included in the evening. |
| 3 | Today we will spend the day at a nearby beach for some fun in the sun. Typical Lunch and then Visit INBIO, Institute of Biodiversity with educational exhibits. Game No. 2 against a second team from among Costa Rica’s best. |
| 4 | Morning visit to the Poas Volcano National Park to view the active crater (depending on the weather) followed by a visit to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens to enjoy the awesome trails through the cloudforest and five impressive falls, with Lunch. Game No. 3 in the evening. |
| 5 | After breakfast the group is transferred to the Arenal Region to view one of the most active volcanoes in the world. En route, we stop at a roadside souvenir shop to view some huge iguanas roaming wild. Enjoy the soothing hotsprings in the evening, Dinner included. Overnight in Arenal. Depending on weather and time available, we may do a hike through the rainforest to a volcano lookout point. |
| 6 | Enjoy a mid-morning Tree-Top Canopy Zip-Line tour followed by Lunch and then a hike to the famous Fortuna River Waterfall where the group can safely swim in the pristine water. Overnight in Arenal. |
| 7 | Transfer to San Jose, after check-in we have game No. 4. Any last minute shopping and relax before the Farewell Dinner. |
| 8 | After breakfast, the group is transferred to the international airport for the return flight home. |

Other costs incurred will depend on each individual’s spending habits. Connecting airfare to departure city, souvenirs, some meals and any personal expenses will not be covered by American International Sports Teams.
