Prague World Cup Fan Package – 2009


AIST would like to invite you to join our group of USA Women’s Lacrosse supporters. AIST will be working directly with US Lacrosse and the Prague World Cup committee to provide you a tour to the 2009 World Cup Lacrosse tournament in Prague Czech Republic. AIST will handle all of your travel arrangements and provide you 24 hour service while on tour. The staff at AIST has been traveling to Prague for the past 7 years with different sports teams and can show you how to take full advantage of your trip to the World Cup.

Day Event
1 Depart Boston for Prague with other US Lacrosse Fans.
2 Arrive in Prague, Czech Republic. Transfer to Hotel for check in. After check-in, relax and recover from your travels. Welcome dinner included in the evening. It may be possible to catch some World Cup action if you desire.
3 After breakfast, we will have a guided tour of Prague including the Astronomical clock the Jewish Quarters and the Charles Bridge. Enjoy the afternoon in the city exploring on your own. At 4pm return to the World Cup action at the Slavia Sports Center just down the street from your hotel: 4:30pm Australia vs. USA.
4 World Cup Games. Free time to explore the City on your own.
5 World Cup Games. Today you will have time to explore Hardcany Castle. Prague Castle is the most popular sight visited in Prague. It is the largest ancient castle in the world (570 m long, on average 128 m wide, area 7.28 hectares). Constructed in the 9th century by Prince Boøivoj, the castle transformed itself from a wooden fortress surrounded by earthen bulwarks to the imposing form it has today. Rulers made their own additions so there is a mixture of styles. Prague castle has had four major reconstructions, but it keeps its classical facelift it took on in the 18 century during the reign of Maria Theresa. The castle has three courtyards and it has always been the seat of Czech rulers as well as the official residence. Entrance fees not included.
6 World Cup Games. Possible day trip to Terrizin Concentration Camp, or Karlstien Castle. Tours listed are optional and additional cost may be added.
7 World Cup Games. Possible day trip to Terrizin Concentration Camp, or Karlstien Castle. Tours listed are optional and additional cost may be added.
8 Finals of the World Cup Games. Shop for souvenirs or visit the cathedral. They day is yours to explore one last time. Farewell Dinner provided by AIST.
9 Depart Prague for return flight to Boston.
