AIST welcomes you, your friends and your family to enjoy a first class organized golf tour with us through Italy.  AIST is a sports tour travel company providing incredible experiences for High School, College and Adult groups.

This special event will take place during the Ryder Cup in Rome, Italy.   The tour package below includes options for both golfers and non-golfers to enjoy a tour together through Italy.  Starting in Milan/Como and working our way South with stops along the way in Florence, Cinque Terre and finishing in Rome.

STEPS TO JOIN THIS TOUR:

  1. Review all of the information paying special attention to inclusions, cancellation fees and terms and conditions. 
  2. Fill out the Tour Request Form by clicking the tab below to confirm space is available. 
  3.  AIST staff will confirm availability within 2 days. Space is limited due to the high demand for this event in 2023.  
  4. Once your place on tour is confirmed you will have a deadline of 10-14 days to submit your $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to guarantee your place on the tour. Please explore the tabs below for additional information.

Additional Excursions and Golf

If you would like to request additional sightseeing excursions or rounds of golf, please email us and we will accommodate you the best we can.  AIST is a group tour organization and can book for small and large groups.  If you prefer to do individual excursions, we recommend you book those separately at a time that works with the proposed itinerary.  Please note, that our itinerary is subject to change prior to departure.

  • Airfare from USA round trip – Group flights can be quoted for 12 or more passengers departing from one destination

  • Passport fees and any other documents required for entry and exit are the responsibility of each passenger.  Please check with the current travel advisors prior to departure.

  • Price is based on minimum group size of 20 total passengers joining the group
  • All passengers must agree to the cancellation fees and non-refundable deposit

TOUR PACKAGES

  • International flight from USA and return NOT included
  • Golfer ground package: 3 rounds of golf included
  • Non-Golfer ground package:  3 rounds of golf are replaced with excursions as outlined in the inclusions.

Golfer Ground Package Cost Per person:

  • Double Room: $4,450.00
  • Single Room: $5,300.00

NON-Golfer Ground Package Cost Per person:

  • Double Room: $4,150.00
  • Single Room: $5,000.00

Airfare Options: 

AIST only books group airfare options. If you have a group of 12 or more passengers interested in a price quote for the international flight, please contact us. Group flights do not allow any deviations to travel dates, upgrades or seat selections. A group block does allow you to pay for your ticket in full at a later date with options to cancel with minimal or no fees.

Do NOT purchase your airline ticket until AIST has confirmed we have a complete group for the tour. If our group total falls below our minimum number of travelers needed, the tour would be subject to cancellation and all deposits would be refunded in full.

Payment Schedule (per person):

The initial deposit of $500 is non-refundable once received.

  • May 5, 2023 – $2500 due per person
  • July 5, 2023 – All balances due

This is a sample itinerary. A final itinerary will be available 1 month prior to departure. We will make every attempt to keep the schedule below. However, some changes may take place due to availability.   Hotels and golf courses will be confirmed at a later date but will be of a similar quality and standard as quoted.  

Day 1 –  Friday September 22, 2023

  • Departure from USA to Italy: due to the time difference, your arrival will be the following day.

Day 2 – Saturday September 23, 2023

  • Arrival in Milan intl. airport and meeting with your bilingual tour manager (English / Italian) who will remain with you throughout the tour
  • Transfer by private bus/car to Milan for a preliminary exploration of the city
  • Guided tour and visit to the Duomo with entry to the Terraces by Lift
  • Lunch on own
  • Final transfer to your selected hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight (3 nights) – Sample Hotel:  www.hotelmetropolesuisse.com

Day 3 – Sunday September 24, 2023

  • Breakfast and then transfer for a private boat cruise on Lake Como up to Bellagio, the pearl of the Lake, with guide on board Guide on board. Click here for an AIST highlight video of this tour
  • Enjoy some free time exploring Bellagio before returning to Como
  • Optional: guided visit of Villa Melzi
  • Dinner on your own and overnight at hotel

Day 4 –Monday September 25, 2023

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Transfer to play round 1: Villa D’Este golf club to play 18 holes
  • Lunch on own
  • Afternoon free in Como

Day 5 – Tuesday September 26, 2023

  • Breakfast and hotel check-out
  • Departure to Florence by Train – Upon arrival, walking tour of the city with a local guide – Entrance to Accademia Gallery included
  • Optional: Wine Tasting at a local production in the city center

Day 6 – Wednesday September 27, 2023

  • Breakfast and transfer to Ugolino Golf Club to play 18 holes
  • Visit a local winery and enjoy a wine tasting
  • Non-Golfers – Options to do food and wine tasting, explore the city of Florence
  • Dinner on your own

Day 7 – Thursday September 28, 2023 

  • Breakfast and hotel check-out
  • Departure to Rome with Stop on the way in Siena – Enjoy lunch on your own and a guided walking tour with a local guide

Day 8 – Friday September 29, 2023

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Golfers Package – transfers to a Olgiata or Acquasanta Golf Club to play 18 holes
  • Non-Golfers – Optional sightseeing tours can be arranged for additional cost or free time to explore on your own
  • Ryder Cup Day – Tickets for Ryder Cup are not included
  • Walking tour of the main sights of Rome for all passengers
  • Dinner on your own

Day 9 – Saturday September 30, 2023

  • Breakfast at your hotel
  • Ryder Cup Day – Tickets for Ryder Cup are not included
  • Enjoy Rome on your own
  • Dinner on your own

Day 10  – Sunday October 1, 2023

  • Breakfast at your hotel

Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Please review the Terms and Conditions. You will be required to agree to these terms during your registration process.

It’s very important that you understand the cancellation policy. We have to follow a very strict cancellation policy due to the contracts with our suppliers.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

The initial deposit at time of registration is non-refundable unless otherwise stated. There are no exceptions for the cancellation fee. Please make sure you understand the commitment you are making prior to putting in your deposit.

  • The initial $500 deposit is non-refundable
  • 120 – 61 Days prior to departure $1500 will be non-refundable
  • 60 Days prior to departure, there will be no refund
  • Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be given. This includes any unused portion of the tour.

 

All cancellations must be confirmed by e-mail to AIST at info@aist.us. AIST will do their best to eliminate cancellation fees when possible however, this is dependent upon our suppliers and the timing of your cancellation of the tour.

We recommend trip insurance.

If AIST cancels a tour due to lack of interest, all passengers will receive a full refund for money received.

Airline Tickets:

All airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. We must have correct and legal spelling of participant’s name as it reads on his or her passport. Responsibility for accuracy of the information given lies within the participant. Any name changes will incur a change fee of $350.

Confirm Available Space

With limited hotel and airline space available, the sooner you confirm and deposit the better.  Europe is in high demand for 2023 and prices on hotels and airfare continue to rise as we get close to departure.

The purpose of this form is so we can verify space is still available for the interested parties.  Each passenger planning to travel will need to fill out this form.  AIST staff will contact you within 2 days to confirm your place on the tour if it is still available.  We will have a wait list set up if you do not get the green light to travel with your first attempt.

  • The options below are subject to availability. Once we receive your form, we will contact you to confirm space and tour package is still available. We anticipate this to be a sold-out event. A wait list will be set up for those we are unable to confirm.
  • Please advise if you have any other requests or comments.
  • Discounts for ground packages or group airline ticket options may be available.

Before you register, you must have received a confirmation email from AIST and secured space on the tour.  Your registration is required for participation but only after AIST has verified you have a place reserved on the travel roster.
