AIST welcomes you and your friends to enjoy a first class organized ski and snowboard tour with us through Germany and Switzerland.  AIST is a sports tour travel company providing incredible experiences for Youth, High School, College and Adult groups.

This special event will take place in the winter of 2022 in hopes of putting two years of disruptive travel behind us due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  AIST has survived the cancellation of more than 65 tours from 2020 – 2021.  This year, 2021, will mark our 20th year of service and we look forward to providing you with this incredible ski and snowboard experience.

  • Ski/snowboard equipment rental
  • Passport fees, entry and exit documentation (Covid19 testing etc.)
  • Additional airfare fees (baggage, fuel surcharges, etc)
  • Personal laundry
  • Individual Insurance Policy
  • Tips for drivers and tour guides. You should plan to tip about 25 – 30 euro in total to be split between your local tour manager and bus driver.

Cost of Tour

Cost of this tour is based on a minimum of 15 passengers and exchange rate 1.18 Euro = 1 USD

Complete Package: Airfare is included from Minneapolis airport (MSP) 

 

  • Double Room: (2 Beds / 2 people): $4,580.00
  • Single Room: (1 Bed / 1 person):  $4,885.00

 

Ground Package: Airfare is NOT included. You will be responsible for booking your own flight and meeting the group in Munich

 

  • Double Room: (2 Beds / 2 people): $3,280.00
  • Single Room: (1 Bed / 1 person):  $3,585.00

Airfare Options: 

AIST only books group airfare options. If you have a group of 12 or more passengers interested in a price quote for the international flight, please contact us. Group flights do not allow any deviations to travel dates, upgrades or seat selections. A group block does allow you to pay for your ticket in full at a later date with options to cancel with minimal or no fees.

Do NOT purchase your airline ticket until AIST has confirmed we have a complete group for the tour. If our group total falls below our minimum number of travelers needed, the tour would be subject to cancellation and all deposits would be refunded in full.

Payment Schedule (per person):

  • Deposit – $500 to confirm your place on the tour
  • October 15, 2021 – $1,500.00
  • December 15, 2021 – All remaining balances due

This is a sample itinerary. A final itinerary will be available 1 month prior to departure. We will make every attempt to keep the schedule below. However, some changes may take place due to availability.   Hotels and golf courses will be confirmed at a later date but will be of a similar quality and standard as quoted.  

Day 1 – Saturday, February 19th

  • Departure from USA to Munich Intl. Airport. Due to the time difference, arrival in Germany the following day

Day 2 – Sunday, February 20th

  • Arrival into the Munich Intl. airport to meet your bilingual tour manager (English/German) who will remain with you during your stay
  • Check in to your hotel
  • Dinner at the famous Hofbräuhaus restaurant with show
  • Overnight in Munich (2-night stay)

Day 3 – Monday, February 21st

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Guided bike tour of the city (an AIST favorite!) with a stop in Munich’s most famous beer garden
  • Beer tasting at a local brewery
  • Free evening to explore Munich
  • Overnight in Munich

Day 4 – Tuesday, February 22nd

  • Breakfast, check out, and departure to Zurich, Switzerland
  • Stop on the way to Neuschwanstein Castle for guided tour
  • Dinner on own
  • Check in and overnight in Zurich (1 night stay)

Day 5 – Wednesday, February 23rd

  • Breakfast and walking guided tour of Zurich
  • Free time in Zurich
  • Departure to Davos and check in to hotel
  • Dinner at restaurant
  • Overnight in Davos (3-night stay)

Day 6 – Thursday, February 24th 

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Full day at Davos Ski Resort – located in the Swiss Alps, Davos is the largest ski resort in all of Switzerland and the highest city in Europe
  • Dinner on own
  • Overnight in Davos

Day 7 – Friday, February 25th 

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Full day at Davos Ski Resort
  • Dinner on own
  • Overnight in Davos

Day 8 – Saturday, February 26th 

  • Breakfast at hotel

Terms and Conditions

Please review the Terms and Conditions. You will be required to agree to these terms during your registration process.

It’s very important that you understand the cancellation policy. We have to follow a very strict cancellation policy due to the contracts with our suppliers.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

  • All payments are fully refundable until 130 days prior to departure
  • 129-100 days prior to departure, $250 will be non-refundable if cancelled for any reason.
  • A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total trip cost (land and air) will be assessed for cancellations between 99 and 61 days prior to departure.
  • Cancellations made within 60 days of departure will receive no refund.
  • All cancellations must be confirmed by e-mail to AIST at info@aist.us. AIST will do their best to eliminate cancellation fees when possible however, this is dependent upon our suppliers and the timing of your cancellation of the tour.

We recommend trip insurance.

If AIST cancels a tour due to lack of interest, all passengers will receive a full refund for money received.

Airline Tickets:

All airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. We must have correct and legal spelling of participant’s name as it reads on his or her passport. Responsibility for accuracy of the information given lies within the participant. Any name changes will incur a change fee of $350.
