Background:
Erin Wagner is entering her fifth season as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where she has established herself as a dynamic leader and a passionate advocate for her athletes. With a wealth of experience both on and off the field, Wagner is committed to fostering a competitive and inclusive environment that encourages excellence.
Coaching Experience:
Before her tenure at RIT, Wagner contributed significantly as an assistant coach at St. John Fisher College from 2018 to 2019, where she played a pivotal role in guiding the Cardinals to an Empire 8 title and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Her coaching journey also includes stints at Ithaca College (2015-2018) and The College at Brockport (2013-2015), where she honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of the game.
Playing Career:
Wagner is a proud alumna of Limestone College, where she graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. As a standout player, she earned recognition as a three-time IWLCA 2nd Team All-American and was named team captain in her junior and senior years. Wagner’s leadership and skill contributed to the team’s remarkable success, including four consecutive NCAA Division II Tournament appearances and a run to the National Championship game in 2011.
Education:
In addition to her undergraduate degree, Wagner holds a Master’s in Physical Education from Brockport, which she completed in 2015. Her academic background enhances her coaching philosophy, allowing her to effectively mentor her players in both athletics and academics.

Wagner believes in the power of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. She is dedicated to not only developing skilled lacrosse players but also empowering young women to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
